Development Group Conduct Overseas Trade Meetings in ZAGREB.
ZAGREB, CROATIA-February 28, 2006 -- Dr. Zlatan Fröhlich, President of the Zagreb Chamber
of Economy, Croatia, U.S. Embassy Officials and John Freeborn with the Freeborn Development
Group conducted business meetings with trade and manufacturing officials while on an economic
development mission to Croatia last week.

Union and St. Louis for access to more than 50% of the U.S. economy.
Mr. Freeborn was representing several small and medium sized companies from the Midwest to
Croatia on railroad related projects with TZV GREDELJ. “The railroad system in Croatia is
undergoing a major upgrade”, says Mr. Freeborn. “Everything from rolling stock, rail lines and
maintenance facilities are being renovated and new equipment purchases to support these
industries will benefit U.S. companies”.

services to several of the nation’s largest rail road companies, especially in the maintenance side
of the business.
The Zagreb Chamber of Economy has been operating within the Croatian Chamber of Economy
(CCE) since 1852. The Chamber has been founded in the tradition of European chambers,
following their organizational pattern, and represents the entire economy. The Chamber is a
public-law institution and is vested with the corresponding authorities. Apart from the Zagreb
Chamber, there are 19 county chambers in the Republic of Croatia and the Head office of the
Croatian Chamber of Economy (CCE).

meetings at the ZAGEB Chamber offices
during a trip to Croatia to meet with officials
from TZV GREDELJ, a division of the Croatian
National Railways system. The purpose of this
meeting was to explore mutual trade
opportunities between small and medium sized
businesses in St. Louis, Missouri and Zagreb.
Topics discussed were advantages of Zagreb’s
research, manufacturing, distribution, and
