FDG VISITS BOSNIAN PRESIDENT KOMSIC ON ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT.

Sarajevo, Bosnia -June 4, 2009 – John Freeborn and
Dr. Ibrahim Vazjovic, PhD., representing FDG Global,
met with Bosnian tri-party President Zeljko Komsic’
today to review economic development and foreign
direct investment opportunities for Bosnia, the
Sarajevo region, and Herzegovina.
During a visit to Sarajevo to meet with industry and
government officials to discuss foreign direct
investment and economic development opportunities
for the region, Mssrs. Freeborn and Vazjovic enjoyed
a brief meeting with tri-party President Komsic to
discuss FDG’s mission in Bosnia, and more specifically
the Sarajevo region.

“FDG has been working for over two years to explore opportunities for direct investment and
business development opportunities in Bosnia”, reports Mr. Freeborn. “During this initial visit we
are here to listen more than talk because we are seeking the input of political economic
development authorities and industry leaders on the best fit for our company”.
FDG Global Services coordinated joint activities to bring to Sarajevo a seminar on foreign direct
investment opportunities for Bosnia and the Sarajevo region. More than 100 government and
business leaders attended the seminar by FDG hosted by City of Sarajevo Mayor Alija Behmenn,
PhD.
“It is our intent to seek out projects and opportunities that will provide success stories to build
upon for Bosnia and the City of Sarajevo”, commented Dr. Vazjovic. “After two years of hard work
and more than four months of planning and coordinating our resources, we have realized this first
milestone towards understanding the foreign direct investment and business development for this
region”.
Sarajevo was the second stop of a three city program exploring economic development
opportunities in Bosnia. FDG also visited with government and industry leaders in the Brcko
District yesterday and tomorrow they will be in Tuzla.
