FREEBORN Represents MODEC on St. Louis Regional International
Partnership Committee.

St. Louis, MO – July 16, 2008 -- John Freeborn, Missouri District Export Council Outreach
Committee Chairman, accepted appointment to the St. Louis Regional International Partnership
[SLRIP]. Ms. Cheryl Marty, Deputy Director of the St. Louis World Trade Center, organized and
hosted the first joint partnership meeting for 2008 on Wednesday July 16th.

Mr. Freeborn’s role will be to serve as liaison and coordinate the MODEC functions on the SLRIP
committee. One of the major activities discussed at the first partnership meeting for 2008 was the
rebirth of the World Trade Day event sponsored by the partnership and spear headed by the
Missouri District Export Council and the U.S. Department of Commerce with the membership
organizations of the partnership.

The St. Louis Regional International Partner is an alliance of internationally focused organizations
in the region who support efforts to increase international trade, education, cultural exchanges,
and world understanding to improve the socio-economic and cultural well being of the St. Louis
region specifically, and the world in general.
