JEFFERSON CITY, Missouri—July 21, 2004—
More than fifty Missouri businesses participated in this special exporting education event
sponsored by the Missouri Department of Economic Development.
“EXPORTING TO MEXICO” is a special presentation series offered to business education
classes and business organizations,” says Mr. John Freeborn, Principal Partner with the FDG
Financial Group. “In this program we discuss how real world examples of success and failures of
doing business in Mexico. Past, present and future opportunities are explored,” says Freeborn.
Mr. Freeborn presented the Missouri Company Spotlight for the EXPORTING TO MEXICO
seminar for the Missouri Dept of Economic Development along with Mr. David Eaton, Director for
the State of Missouri Mexico Trade & Agriculture Office, Ms. Margaret Gottlieb, International
Trade Specialist with the US Dept of Commerce, Mr. Mark Hitt, Team Leader for the Missouri
Dept of Agriculture, Mr. A.J. Anderson, International Trade Finance Specialist for the US Export
Assistance Office in Des Moines Iowa and Mark Wine, International Trade Specialist for the
Missouri Dept. Of Economic Development.
Mr. Freeborn’s lecture series EXPORTING TO MEXICO is available to local business groups and
